Happy Independence Day!

A special thanks to MarthaStewart.com for the festive Independence Day photos as today's posting inspiration.  I didn't want this post to be like any other day.  I wanted to leave something for you to ponder today.  Some historical symbols that mark our Independence as reminders; quotes from a couple of our nation's founding fathers and of course scripture.

Like the Revolutionary War and others, we too as Christians will receive our freedom from the bondage of sin and will live in eternity with our Lord Jesus Christ.  Amen
