Tom Mabe plays pranks on public by pretending to be talking to someone on his cell phone.
(Caution: there is some bad language)
Whatever you give a woman, she will make greater.
If you give her love juice, she'll give you a baby.
If you give her a house, she'll give you a home.
If you give her groceries, she'll give you a meal.
If you give her a smile, she'll give you her heart.
She multiplies and enlarges what is given to her.
So, if you give her any lip, be ready to receive a ton of crap.
Women are angels. And when someone breaks our wings, we simply continue to fly . . . usually on a broomstick. We are flexible like that.
I received this funny from my sister. All I can add is AMEN! {kackling, kackling}
I love watching videos of little kids, the things that comes out of their mouths. I get a chuckle asking my kids questions just to hear their response. I found this on YouTube, she is so adorable and I love her expressions trying to explain the movie "Star Wars."
I hope this video puts a smile on your face this Monday.
The first time I heard this report, it was on The Rick and Bubba Show probably a couple of weeks ago. The original newscast was in June of this year. I'm sorry, but it is so funny. Rick and Bubba likes to play the sound bites from time to time during some funny, yet ridiculous reporting. Whenever this guy starts talking, I start giggling. "He was 10 feet tall . . . he had beautiful hair . . . and I told him to GEET ~ GET on outta here . . . G. E.T!" LOL!
I just had to share it with you. I hope this gives you a little giggle for a cold, wet Monday morning.
I know it's not Wordless Wednesday, but I so have to share this with my Bama brothers and sisters out there. I'm a member of a local Bama Club and they had this picture on their Facebook.
Auburn Head Football Coach celebrating the winning bid for Cam Newton
This won't be funny unless you're not an Auburn fan and keep up with sports news.
It's been another crazy Monday for us. Between Katie complaining that she's going to have to get back on a more school time bedtime schedule, washing floors and keeping Colton from climbing the walls. LOL!
I was surfin' around GodTube late last night and wanted to share these two popular videos with you. If you had a rough Monday, hopefully these will put a hop in your step and a tickle in your funnybone.
Revelation Song video from GodTube.
"A More Real 'Love Story'" by Anita Renfroe
Anita is a Christian Comedian that is singing this favorite song of Taylor Swift. Katie absolutely loves this song by Swift. I'd like to dedicate this cute song to all you mommies out there that just needs a break. There have been many a times when I feel just like the woman in this song.
Movie Review Remember Me starring Robert Pattinson
This movie didn't touch me on a personal note, but I thought it was very heartfelt. I mean, my life couldn't compare to the storyline, but it was touching. I will try to be careful, so I won't give any details away. The relationship Tyler had with his little sister was so powerful that I don't believe any force could break. I felt so bad about the relationship they had with their father. You just wanted to shake Charles and tell him to wake up. In the end, I think Charles Hawkins realized what he had missed in the years past and all of his regrets. But was it too late? IT'S A MUST SEE! Please let me know what you think about the movie. {I cried in the end}
Featured Bloggers
I love to visit my fellow bloggers. For the past few days, I've stopped writing on my blog to take in what other bloggers are writing about. Sometimes, we need to just stop and read whats going on around us. I recently joined Southern Mommas. What I think is so cool about Southern Mommas is that they have subgroups by your favorite state. Me being from the south, I was so happy to see all the Southern Belles, especially in Bama and I got to meet a dear lady from this group Land of Mama Grits. If you have a chance, you've got to read her testimony. You talk about a tear jerker.
Another blogger, I enjoyed walking into today. Thanks to Alabama Bloggers, I got to meet Life in Bunny Slippers. She seems like quite a funny character and I thoroughly enjoyed reading her funnies and videos. Below are a couple, I'd like to pass along to you.
I'm still thirty something, so I'm not that old. Watching this funny video relates to me some days. I forget where I leave things, I don't know what I was doing or going before I woke up out of my trance and I'm always getting family members names mixed up. My sisters and mother try to ease my mind (make me feel like I'm not loosing my mind) by saying that I've just got a lot on my mind. {blahahaha!}
I'm sorry, but I found this hilarious! Honestly, it's so true. Carol, if you might be reading this, I want to thank you for the laugh.
I had never heard of Jeanne Robertson until tonight as I was checking out a few new blogs. "Thinking Outside The Box posted the video. I could tell right off the bat, this was a good Southern woman. As I was watching the video, I kept waking Doug up because I couldn't stop shaking the bed from giggling. So funny! I hope you will enjoy her.
You may not hear much from me in the next couple of weeks. Katie and I are wrapping up the end of the year with ballet and school. She's got recital practice twice a week now until the performance, May 29th. Her pictures came in from both school and ballet. I'll scan and post just as soon as I possibly can. They are precious! I was sooo happy with them. We've still got one more party before school is over on the 27th of May.
I'd like to do something for Mrs. Katie, before the end of the year. I know, I've waited a little too late. I've been getting a few ideas tonight from other crafty bloggers. I'd still like to give the students a photo album or basically pictures from this past year, to put in their scrapbooks. I'm also throwing around the idea for Katie a friend birthday party. I've been calling around and I've got it narrowed down to renting a moonwalk for the house one weekend or renting a pavilion at one of our parks. Katie likes either idea, but I think she'll like the moonwalk the best. I think she's come to a conclusion that she would like a "Hello Kitty" party more than any other suggestions.
I don't want to confuse her enough, so we're going to go with it. Plus, I'll get to try my hand at one of these "Here Kitty, Kitty!" cake pops by Bakerella.
Prayer Request
Please continue to pray for my friend with Colon Cancer. She went to work this week, but I believe she'll start the treatments next week. She told Doug, she'll be on medical leave for probably 6 weeks. We still don't know how much of her colon will be removed, but the doctors are optimistic.
I think most all of the kids enjoyed this field trip to CiCi's Pizza. We walked in to a table full of raw pizzas, ready to be assembled and cooked. The owner took 5 children at a time to make their very own pizza. Some kids piled on all the toppings and then there were a few that would rather just have a cheese pizza. Here are a few pictures of the whole experience: Katie dug right in and started putting on the toppings. Surprised, she wanted to put pineapple and mushrooms on her pizza. We got to go back into the kitchen area and watch the pizza go into the 500 degree oven. Would you believe the lady asked us if we would like to push the pizza onto the conveyor belt? We passed on the experience of staying right by a boiling hot oven, didn't sound all that safe. Katie really liked her pizza and it looks pretty good. She decided she didn't like the pineapples, but liked everything else. By the time she was finished, I was shocked to see that she ate half of it. After all the children ate, they hit the game room. Katie had to try one of the games. Her and her friend, Me-Me aka Mary Holman, are pretending to drive. The Twilight SeriesI finished "Breaking Dawn" and I have to say that it was a very good read. It did keep you in suspense all throughout the book. I have to admit that I did get my feathers ruffled from time to time until I found out later that it didn't end up the way I thought it would, suspense. I was cheering for Jacob up to the very end, but I guess over all he did get the girl per sa. I don't want to give everything away, so I'll leave it at that.
First, I have to get something that I've pondered off of my chest. We were at Bridge Street, doing a little shopping and waiting to be seated at P.F. Changs, when I went inside Barnes and Noble. I knew I wanted to get "Breaking Dawn", but I had a difficult time finding the thing under fictional romance. I even looked under horror, but nothing. I was beginning to wonder if they even sold the series. Then, there they were. What puzzles me is what makes publishers think this series is just for teens? For one thing, I wouldn't consider this a teenager's novel. In fact, I wouldn't encourage the read for teenagers. Is it because there are teenagers in the stories? I think kids have enough to think about with raging hormones. I don't know about boys, but girls fantasize a lot and some may have difficulty keeping fiction and non-fiction separate. I am glad that Stephanie Meyer kept some morals in the story. At least Edward and Bella got married before they became intimate with one another and I'm relieved Bella was practically dead before she was transformed into a vampire. Overall, I'm very pleased to have had the change to read the whole series. "New Moon" comes out on DVD March 20th, I believe, right before "Eclipse" comes to the theaters. I'm very excited to see how the movies will go along with the books.
Mom's Birthday Luncheon
We had a really nice lunch with mom yesterday. We all met up at "The All Steak Restaurant". Katie loved seeing Nia again. Robin and I have got to get the girls together more often because they love playing with one another. Katie gets upset when she doesn't get to play with Nia long enough. Here are a few pictures:
Tim Hawkins
Last night, I laid up on the bed, surfacing the web, while Doug was sleeping. I had both kids in bed sleeping, so I had time to myself. I checked out Max Lucado's daily devotional and his latest news. I remembered God Tube, so I pulled it up to see what was the most popular Christian video this week. I saw the name Tim Hawkins and it was listed that he was a Christian comedian. I thought I could really use a laugh, so I checked him out. I had my head phones on, but still managed to wake Doug up. I guess the bed was shaking so hard from me laughing. He is a comedian that takes older songs and changes the words. He is really good at it. To kick off Valentine's week, I decided to post this parody of two loves "Samson and Delilah."
Right away, I have to tell you that he's not gay. He's pretending to be a Sunday School Teacher, mixed with silliness. I'm so glad God allowed me to discover Tim. I will be excited to see more of his skits and musical parodies.
