I've mentioned to you about Emily. She has one good lung that collapsed after church one Sunday not too long ago. Emily is in the hospital with a chest tube into her good lung. It collapsed to 30%. I called her hospital room this morning to see how she was doing. I spoke to her husband, Jason, who seems very optimistic or in good spirits. He said that Emily still has the chest tube, but is in good spirits. Her doctor had not made his rounds yet, so we don't really know what the progress might be at this time. I asked if it would be okay that I call a little later today and find out what the doctor had to say. Knowing doctors, her doctor probably won't get to her before noon. I plan to call the hospital back before I leave for the day. Please keep her and her family in your prayers, she has a small child and husband. Hopefully, I'll get to learn more this afternoon to pass along to you. Thanks!
Also very recently, a lady joined our church. Well, her husband called our church and asked what he could do to become a member as well. Ms. Dorothy asked him if he was a member of a church. "No," he responded. Ms. Dorothy asked him if he could meet with her at the church and they could just talk. Praise the Lord! After many prayers and long talks with Dorothy, he accepted the Lord. He will be baptised this Sunday. Now, he and his wife are concerned about their daughter, Kristen. She is in the 11th grade and has not professed her beliefs. Her parents ask us today to please pray for their daughter that she might receive Christ as her personal Savior. Thank you!
