I've been playing around with Blogger once again. I've been noticing on other blogs, where women like to label their favorite recipes that they've blogged in the past. Well, I wanted to try labeling as well. Today, I finally had that chance and went back to all my older posts. Oh my gosh! Have you ever just went back a year ago and read your old posts and watch old videos. I nearly started crying watching a video, I posted, of Katie watching "The Wizard of Oz". She was around 20-21 months old. It was so sweet! It's hard to imagine that my baby is turning 3 years old in a few days. :(
I noticed I didn't post my favorite cobbler recipe, so I wanted to share it. I made it during the 4th of July weekend, but forgot to take pictures of it. Most everyone loves my cobbler recipe. I hope you will enjoy it just as much.
Peach Cobbler
1 cup sugar
1 cup self-rising flour
1 cup milk
1 can peach pie filling
3/4 cup margarine
Melt margarine; pour in bottom of casserole dish. Mix sugar, flour and milk, add next. Do not stir! Spoon in pie filling on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
Mirya's Special Notes: I like to put a few dashes of cinnamon/sugar mixture on top of cobbler before putting into the oven. There have times where I just put cinnamon powder on top. I normally use peach pie filling, but you can use any of your favorite fruit flavor like cherry. Of course, this cobbler tastes best with some homemade vanilla ice cream on top. I would love to make a chocolate cobbler. If you've already made it, please let me know how it went.
